CAP Remains Open During COVID-19

June 1st marks the first day of Hurricane Season and we have already had three (3) named storms.  C.A.P. Government, Inc. (CAP) supports efforts by our municipalities to be prepared and have a plan of action in the event a Hurricane comes our way.   There are new COVID – 19 Pandemic Operational guidelines published by FEMA in line with the CDC for our State to be “more ready than ever before”.

As South Florida moves towards a Phase 2 of reopening, CAP continues to implement safe business and workplace practices.  In addition, to our Electronic Plans Review (EPR) services, we are in the early stages of implementing “virtual” inspections in order to further protect the health of our Inspection team and those that we serve.

We at C.A.P. Government, Inc. (CAP) provide services that are deemed “essential services” by Executive Order 20-91 executed by Governor Ron DeSantis.  This Executive Order will be effective today, April 2, 2020 at 11:59 PM.  The Order allows for essential business to continue, defining construction and Engineering services as essential businesses.  This Order uses U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security’s Memo on what services are deemed essential.  CISA also specifically designates construction as essential.
