C.A.P. Government, Inc. (CAP) was established in 1989 and specializes in providing building department services exclusively to government clients. Beginning with the Village of Key Biscayne, CAP’s pioneering efforts facilitated the successful implementation of outsourced building departments services to government agencies across South Florida.

For over 30 years, local agencies have relied on CAP’s expertise and history of delivering customer-centric building department solutions. CAP’s customized contracting methods range from full to expedited service as well as supplemental staffing on an as-needed basis.

CAP’s commitment to excellence includes the guarantee that services are carried out in accordance with the requirements of Chapter’s 553 and 468, Part XII, Florida Statutes; the Florida Building Code (FBC); and all other relevant laws and codes including the Florida Building Code High-Velocity Hurricane Zone and City Amendments. All CAP staff are certified in the appropriate disciplines by the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, state of Florida Building Code Administrator and Inspectors Board, and the governing Board of Rules and Appeals (BORA).
